Liaoning Symphony Orchestra is a tidy lineup, the strength of the orchestra. "Ninth (Choral) Symphony"; Brahms's "Fourth Symphony"; Berlioz's "Symphony Fantastique"; Tchaikovsky's "Fourth Symphony" and the "Fifth Symphony", "Piano Concerto No. 1"; Dvorak’s "New World Symphony"; Rimsky-Korsakov’s "Arabian Nights"; Debussy's "The Afternoon of a Faun" and Shostakovich's "Fifth Symphony". "Twelfth Symphony" (domestic premiere) etc..
      In the 2nd Liaoning Province Art Festival in 1992, the orchestra successfully played Beethoven's "Ninth (Choral) Symphony", and won an Excellent Performance Award. In the sixth Liaoning Province Arts Festival in 2004, Liaoning Symphony Orchestra performed "Red Beach", which won the Excellent Performer Award. The Orchestra has served as band performance for the "Boundless Field" and the "Vast Sea" and the ballet "Butterfly Lovers", "The Moon's Reflection on ErQuan", and played in the band to attend the five - or six China Art Festival, and in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other places, which received well praise. Seiji Qzawa happily praised the Symphony Orchestra: “The cooperation between you and I has jointly created miracles”. The Symphony Orchestra also cooperated with famous conductors both at home and abroad such as Chipel, Ronard, Niklaus, Tuanyi Jiumo, Fucun Fangyi, Zheng Xiaoying, Zhang Mei, Zhang Peiyu, Cao Ding, Li Xincao and Jiang Jinyi in performing symphonic concert, and cooperated with well-known singers and performers such as Yao Hong, Wei Song, Dai Yuqiang, Sheng Zhongguo, Lang Lang and Chen Xi in performing. In Dec. 2006, Liaoning Symphony Orchestra and Far Eastern International Symphony Orchestra of Russia will jointly perform “The 4th Northern China New Year Concert of 2006”, it is the first time that Liaoning Symphony Orchestra cooperated with foreign symphony orchestra in performing symphonic concert, it is also the first time that symphony orchestra of China cooperated with symphony orchestra of Russia in performing symphonic concert in recent years. Over 140 performers took part in this performance successively. The performance, grand and magnificent, was conducted by conductors of the two countries in turn.
